This painting was inspired by the realization that it's okay to feel things deeply. Often we just keep pushing forward with life, afraid to slow down long enough to admit what hurts. But to feel is to be human. So is the longing for union with God. May this painting remind you to notice your emotions and senses as a way to connect with God.
